But it is important to understand that everything is individual, and each pet is unique. Some owners take their dog out for the first time early in the morning. Keeping and walking dogs in public places is regulated by not one, but several laws. Today in Russia there is a whole set of rules that establish not only the responsibilities, but also the rights of dog owners.
The Federal Law is not yet fully in force. Many points officially come into force only on January 1, 2021. We are talking about a ban on walking a potentially dangerous breed without a leash and muzzle, regardless of location.

Estrus is a fairly long-term phenomenon - it occurs twice a year for approximately 20-22 days. The aging of a dog can be determined because it starts to come into heat only once a year.
Mating day
This is usually the ninth day after the first blood appears.
The female shows signs of sexual heat, but will not allow the male to approach her.
The female shows the greatest sexual activity during the period of estrus from the 10th to the 17th day, and after the 17th day of estrus she becomes more and more calm to the pestering of males and by the end of the estrus she no longer reacts to them at all.
Stages
Throughout the entire estrus period, there are several stages, knowing which, the owners of female dogs will not be mistaken in the best time for mating.
Stage 1. Proestrus
From the 1st to the 8th day of estrus. The bitch is not ready to accept a male dog - she can be either aggressive or too shy.
The discharge is bloody and watery, quite profuse, the dog needs to wear panties or diapers. By the way, you can make them yourself.
Stage 2. Estrus
From the 9th to the 17th day of estrus, a very active period. The bitch shows a desire to mate, and in fact, mating is only possible during this period.
Many dog breeders determine a bitch’s readiness to accept a male dog this way: if the bitch moves her tail back and exposes the loop, then she is ready for mating.
Stage 3. Diestrus
This period is also called metaestrus - from the 17th to the 23rd day of estrus. The bitch still allows the male, but the discharge from the loop is less intense, and the bitch’s desire to mate is also less pronounced.
At this time, mating is possible, but it is not recommended. The offspring may not be as healthy, not as purebred, as expected.
Intermediate stage. Anestrus
This is what is called the period between heats. At this time, a healthy dog demonstrates its usual behavior.
What to do to keep your dog busy so that he doesn’t get bored during a walk?
To prevent your pet from getting bored during walks, it is recommended to come up with active activities for him. Dog handlers recommend combining the free movement of your pet with practicing various commands. The most suitable outdoor games include fetching or playing Frisbee with a flying disc.
An interesting and well-developing exercise is fetching. The main requirement is to practice on a flat and preferably soft surface. That is, firstly, you will need a leash.
It is a leash with a collar, and not a harness, which can harm the dog’s fragile skeleton. It must be said that many puppies are frightened by the collar and on the street they simply begin to become petrified from the mere new sensations on their body.
Therefore, I recommend starting to try on and wear the leash a little at home, while you have not yet gone for a walk, and when training for the street has already started, “get dressed” a few minutes before going out. This way you will create the “collar = street” reflex for the dog. Just no exceptions or concessions!
Secondly, it would be good to teach the dog simple commands.
The most important thing that any well-mannered puppy should know is his name. Make sure he at least turns his head towards the sound of his name. This is the basic team from which more complex ones are built.
The second command that is useful on the street is “no!” or “ugh!” The dog must absolutely know that you do not approve of its actions and obey you. This will be very useful when your pet tastes literally everything that is in sight. A puppy’s mouth is a device for getting to know the world, keep this in mind and don’t take your eyes off the dog.
And, of course, the little dog must know the command “come to me!” It doesn’t matter whether you walk in a crowded place or in a forested area outside the city, on a leash or without it. This team will ensure the safety of both of you and everyone around you.
Let's start small
For the first walks, 10-15 minutes is enough. Of course, a lot depends on weather conditions and the reaction of the animal. If the dog is comfortable, has strength and mood, you can stay longer.
Puppies under three months are not recommended to walk for more than an hour a day; after all, they are, in fact, children and get tired quickly.
